The Siemens Reyrolle 7SR23 DAD is a numeric high-impedance circulating current relay with four current inputs, designed for unit protection to detect phase and earth faults. It can be applied to bus bars, connections, transformers, reactors, and motors. High-impedance applications require external stabilizing resistors and non-linear resistors (Metrosils), which can be standardized in Epsilon cases for easy installation. CT supervision detects open circuits in CT secondary wiring. Housed in E6 or E8 cases, integrated logic optimizes relay input/output functionality. Protection, instrumentation, and metering functions are accessible via data communication channels, with front USB for local connection and rear RS485 for remote access.
