The Siemens 7SR242 is a transformer protection relay for two-winding transformers of all vector groups, primary configurations, and earthing types. It can also be applied for auto-transformer and reactor protection schemes. Housed in E8 or E10 cases, it provides integrated programmable logic, analog and binary inputs/outputs, USB and RS485 ports for local or remote connection, and additional port options.
